Miss Long Island Scholarship Pageant

Miss Long Island Scholarship Pageant is an official local preliminary to the Miss New York/Miss America Organization. John D. Giglio is the Executive Director of the Miss Long Island Scholarship Pageant. Duc Nguyen, Executive Director of the Miss Southeast Texas Scholarship Pageant, served on the panel of judges for the pageant. Sabrina LaVoie, Miss Southeast Texas 2001, and Leslie Bramlett, Miss Teen Southeast Texas 2001, were invited to attend the pageant and also were recognized at the pageant. Shenan Reed, who was Miss Long Island 1998 and Miss Southeast Texas 1994, served as the mistress of ceremonies of the pageant.
